It is always fun to see a shoe print in the snow, mud or rain. Yet it is even more fun to actually make a shoe print using a foam printing plate and ink. Each of these are unique in their own way.

Incorporating the concept of foreground, middle ground and background, these wooded scenes were created using tempera paints. The three-dimensional illusion created draws the viewer into the picture. Care to go for a hike?

Absolutely fabulous comes to mind when looking at this mural. The students worked together sharing ideas, advice and encouragement. This mural is over 15 feet long! Great job.Rain Forest Survey

Whimsical and fun. Created out of clay and then glazed, these animals are sure to make you smile with their delightful facial expressions and details.

Clay Plates
Who could have guessed the amount of work that goes into creating a clay plate! The students soon discovered the long and careful process, as they created and then glazed, creating some beautiful designs. Healthy FoodsAre you hungry yet? Inspired by pop artist Wayne Thiebaud, the students used a mix of oil pastels and chalk pastels to create some yummy foods. The biggest challenge was to not use black, but instead create the shadows and shading with complementary colors.

Stain Glass Looking Radial Symmetry
The students learned that there are many ways to create radial symmetry. These unique designs were made using different types of markers. Amazing! Animals of the Rainforest
After looking at a video of the Amazon rain forest, the students used oil pastels and tempera paints to create a close-up view of a rain forest animal of choice. They paid a lot of attention to blending and adding details. Their hard work paid off!
